From complete rebuilds to small repairs. We combine traditional and modern techniques to bring your upholstered furniture back. Whether the upholstery needs consolidation and stabilising or it needs a complete makeover. Each piece that comes into the workshop is different and is treated as such. If the upholstery can be repaired we will try our best to offer that as an option too.

Soft Furnishings

Box cushions, scatter cushions and loose covers. We can design and make box cushions for window seats and suchlike. Scatter cushions of various sizes depending on your requirements. If your furniture needs a covering, we can make loose covers which can be removed and washed when needed. This is a great way to give the furniture you are happy with structurally and new look.

We also offer a mending service for damaged textiles. We can inspect, repair and consolidate cushions that have seen better days. We will do our all to save them from landfill. Get in touch to discuss your requirements here. Please note we do not make curtains.

Handmade Lampshades

Tailored, pleated or gathered styles. Made to your specifications (size, shape, colours) using traditional hand stitched techniques. We can add trims and braids or keep it simple and classic.

Traditional Chair Caning

Whether you need your item re-caned or small holes mended, we offer a full service of traditional caning using natural cane and methods that have been used over many years. We can discuss your requirements, please send us a message via our contact form.

Before we can provide you with a quote for our upholstery services, the item you are inquiring about must be inspected. We are unable to give ‘ballpark’ figures because each piece of furniture is different and needs to be treated as such.
